Before You Begin
Ensure you have admin access to the workflow settings and the module where the workflow should be triggering. You'll also need access to test records to verify workflow conditions.
Steps
Review the workflow conditions
Navigate to your workflow settings and examine each condition requirement. Make note of any field names referenced in the conditions.Locate referenced fields in the module
Go to the module where the workflow should trigger and check if all fields mentioned in the workflow conditions are present and visible.Check for hidden fields
If a field isn't visible in the standard view, check your module's field settings to see if any required fields are hidden or inactive.Verify field names match exactly
Ensure the field names in your workflow conditions match the actual field names in your module exactly (including spelling, capitalization, and spacing).Test with sample records
Create or use existing records that should meet all workflow conditions to verify the workflow triggers properly after resolving field issues.
Verification / Expected Result
After ensuring all referenced fields exist and are properly configured, your workflow should trigger when the specified conditions are met. Test submissions or records should now properly activate the workflow.
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
Workflow still not triggering: Double-check that all condition requirements are being met by your test records, not just the field availability.
Field exists but workflow fails: Verify the field values in your test records exactly match the condition requirements (e.g., "Verification Complete" vs "verification complete").
