Overview
Providing clear instructions in webforms helps users complete them accurately and reduces confusion. Dazos CRM allows you to embed instructions directly within the webform builder, improving usability and ensuring smooth data collection. This guide explains how to create or edit a webform, add instructions, and manage webhook details.
Before You Begin
• Access to Dazos CRM with admin permissions
• Customer-provided webform URLs (to identify required fields)
• Webhook instructions (requested via support ticket if not already provided). If you do not have them yet, make sure you request them on your ticket.
Steps
Once you have them, you can proceed to enter the CRM. When you get there, head over to Settings, CRM Settings, Automation, Webform/Webhooks as shown next:
When you get to the Webform/Webhooks section, You will be able to see all the active webforms currently active for the instance, and since we will be creating one, head over to the top right of the page that says + Add Webform.
You will be able to see the "Creating new Webform" section, and now, you have to visit the URLs provided by the customer in order to be able to determine which specific details we need to add on our fields.
Now that we are in the URL we will take a look at the specific fields we need to take into account, that will depend on your customer, be sure to take all of them into account, and look closely how many URLs they provide, since some webforms are different from one another.
Make sure you add a name to the Webform, assign it to someone from the instance (which can be the requester) And now, based on the fields you saw on the instance URLs you can start by adding the required or mandatory fields for the instance.
When you finish your work, make sure to click on save to keep track of the process we have just done.
When you complete this, make sure to check your Dazos email since you will be receiving the webhook instructions there with an specific format:
Be sure to share this with the requester and explain how to extract the ID in case they need it.
Verification / Expected Result
• The new webform is created with required fields and visible instructions.
• Webhook instructions are delivered to the Dazos email inbox.
• Requester is able to reference and use webhook ID as needed.
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
• Webhook instructions not received: Confirm a support ticket was submitted.
• Fields missing from webform: Double-check customer URLs for required data.
• Instructions not visible to users: Ensure the Instructions/Description field was used correctly in the builder.
