This FAQ addresses some of the most common questions our users have regarding system navigation, customizing assessments, and integrating external tools like QuickBooks into Dazos CRM.


Q: How do I stop the left navigation sidebar from automatically collapsing?

A: The sidebar behavior is controlled at the individual user level, rather than being a global system setting. To change how your sidebar acts:

  • Click the three-line menu icon (the "hamburger" icon) at the top left of your screen.

  • Clicking this will pin the sidebar open permanently.

  • Clicking it again will switch it back to hover mode, meaning the sidebar will automatically collapse to give you more screen space until you hover over it.


Q: Why am I missing the "Outbound Referral" section when using Quick Create in Accounts?

A: If you are trying to use the Quick Create menu but cannot see the Outbound Referral fields, this usually points to a backend configuration conflict. Please open a support ticket so our team can investigate. We will review your specific user permissions, layout settings, and module configurations to restore visibility.


Q: Are there limits or best practices for adding custom fields to a Pre-Admission Assessment (PAA)?

A: Yes. Each PAA module in Dazos CRM has a maximum field limit to ensure the system runs smoothly. Deleting and re-adding too many fields across multiple PAA types can cause the module to lock or result in "Access Denied" errors. Best Practices for PAA customization:

  • Reuse, don't duplicate: If a field (like Employer) applies to multiple PAA types, create it once in the system and reuse it across all your forms. This preserves your field quota and reduces system conflicts.

  • Use Module Table Fields: For repeated questions or lists, leverage Table Fields to keep your structure clean and efficient.


Q: Does Dazos CRM integrate with QuickBooks (QBMS) for patient payments?

A: Yes! Dazos CRM includes a robust QuickBooks Merchant Services (QBMS) integration that functions as a secure payment gateway (similar to Authorize.net). Key Capabilities:

  • Attach payment charges from the CRM directly to a QBMS Statement to send to patients.

  • Allow patients to pay their charges directly through the Customer Portal.

  • Link multiple QBMS accounts to specific CRM locations to keep your billing organized.

  • Process both electronic checks and credit card transactions.

  • Seamlessly sync charges and patient responsibilities between Dazos IQ and Dazos CRM.


Q: Can I set the CRM to automatically expand and show all replies in a comment thread?

A: Currently, Dazos CRM is designed to display only the latest comment in a thread by default. To view older replies, you must click the "x Reply" link. While we understand that automatically expanding threads might save a click, this design choice is intentional—it ensures that records with heavy commenting history continue to load lightning-fast for your team.
