Before You Begin
This configuration requires administrative access to system settings. Contact your system administrator if you need assistance with payer code update rules.
When This Configuration Applies
The system will stop updating BCBS payer codes from iVerify responses unless:
The existing payer code in the system is S001
The policy is not a Blue Cross Blue Shield plan
Expected Result
After this configuration is enabled:
BCBS payer codes will remain unchanged when iVerify responses are processed, preserving your existing payer code assignments
Only BCBS policies with the generic S001 code will be updated with more specific payer codes from iVerify
Non-BCBS payer codes will continue to update normally from iVerify responses
Troubleshooting
If BCBS payer codes are still being updated automatically after this configuration:
Verify the rule is properly applied in your system settings
Contact technical support for assistance with payer code update configurations
