SMS Module 'Select From Number' Field Display with CTM Integration (CRM)

The 'Select From Number' field in the SMS module displays phone numbers available for texting from your connected CTM accounts. The display format shows the CTM account number in parentheses and cannot be customized through standard CRM field options.

How CTM Integration Works

When you have CTM accounts connected to your Dazos system, the SMS module pulls available phone numbers directly from CTM. Each number displays with its associated CTM account number in parentheses, such as '(Acc: 393080)'.

This display format is controlled by the CTM integration itself, not by Dazos CRM field settings.

Why Field Customization Isn't Available

The 'Select From Number' field displays external integrated data from CTM, not native CRM data. Standard CRM field customization options like:

  • Field relabeling through Module Fields & Layout

  • Custom picklist values

  • Field display name changes

These options only apply to native CRM fields, not to data pulled from external integrations like CTM.

What You'll See

In the SMS module's 'Select From Number' dropdown, you'll see:

  • Available phone numbers for texting

  • CTM account numbers in parentheses (e.g., "(Acc: 393080)")

  • The exact format as provided by your CTM integration

Note: The display cannot be changed to show friendly names like 'Bruce Wayne' instead of CTM account numbers.
