Symptom/Error
The Length of Stay column in your reports appears blank, shows zero values, or stops calculating entirely. This issue may occur on a recurring basis (monthly or periodically) even after previous fixes.
Cause
Length of Stay calculation problems typically occur when the workflow configuration becomes misaligned or when system updates affect the calculation method. The workflow may not be running in the correct mode needed for proper Length of Stay calculations.
Solution
To fix Length of Stay calculation issues, update your workflow to run in Time Interval mode:
Navigate to your workflow settings in the CRM
Locate the Length of Stay workflow configuration
Update the workflow to run the Length of Stay in Time Interval mode
Save the workflow changes
Run or refresh your report to verify the calculations are working
Verification
After updating the workflow configuration, your Length of Stay column should display calculated values correctly. The report data should populate as expected, and this fix should prevent the issue from recurring in future reports.
Prevention
💡 Tip: This workflow update typically provides a long-term fix and should prevent monthly recurrence of the calculation issue. However, if the problem persists or returns frequently, it may indicate a deeper system configuration issue.
