If you're not seeing emails from Dazos in your Gmail inbox, it's likely due to Gmail's filtering rules. Follow the steps below in your Google Admin Console to ensure Dazos messages are whitelisted and don’t get blocked or quarantined.

Step 1: Whitelist Dazos in Gmail

Purpose:

Mark emails from Dazos as safe so they don’t go to spam.

How-To:

    • Log in with a Super Admin account.

  1. Navigate to:

    nginx

Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Spam, Phishing, and Malware

  2. Under the Spam section:

    • Find your Organizational Unit (OU)

    • Click Configure or Edit (if a rule already exists).

  3. Scroll to Email allowlist (formerly Approved senders).

  4. Add the Dazos domain or email address:

    css

    dazos.com OR [email protected]

  5. Click Add, then scroll down and click Save.

Step 2: Reduce Attachment Scanning Enforcement (Optional)

Note: Gmail always scans attachments for malware. This step prevents Gmail from blocking or quarantining messages due to overly strict rules — it doesn’t disable scanning.

How-To:

  1. In the Admin Console, go to:

    nginx

Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Compliance

  2. Scroll down to Content Compliance and click:

    • Add Another Rule (or edit an existing one).

  3. Name the rule something like:

    pgsql

Trusted Sender - Skip Attachment Scan

  4. Under Email messages to affect, choose:

    • Inbound

  5. Under Add expressions, click:

    • If ANY of the following match the message

    • Select Metadata matchSender

    • Choose Matches regex

    • Enter:

      ruby

      ^.*@dazos\.com$

  6. Under If the above expressions match, choose:

    • Bypass spam filter for this message

    • (Optional) Bypass attachment compliance

  7. Click Add Setting, then Save.

Important Notes

  • Gmail will still scan attachments for viruses or malware. You can’t turn that off.

  • These settings prevent Gmail from over-enforcing, such as flagging messages as spam or quarantining attachments.

  • Avoid whitelisting entire domains you don’t fully trust — it increases spoofing risks.
