Question:
Why isnโt the Outbound Referral section appearing under Quick Create in the Accounts module.
Environment:
Module Affected: Accounts โ Quick Create
Feature: Outbound Referral section
User Type: Admin
Summary of the Issue:
Some users report that the Outbound Referral section does not appear when using the Quick Create option within the Accounts module. Even when the relevant fields are selected in the layout configuration, they do not display on the form as expected.
This is typically a configuration or permission-based issue that requires backend review.
Root Cause:
At the surface level, there is no visible configuration issue in the CRM interface that directly hides the Outbound Referral fields.
Possible underlying causes include:
The section or fields being hidden by field permissions or profiles.
Module configuration inconsistencies in cloned or customized instances.
Resolution / Next Steps:
Since this issue cannot always be identified through front-end review, please proceed as follows:
Open a Support Ticket with the CRM team.
Include your instance URL and affected module name (Accounts).
Describe that the Outbound Referral section is missing from Quick Create.
Backend Verification by Support:
Our support team will review whether the fields are hidden due to permissions, layout dependencies, or other module-level restrictions.
If necessary, configuration adjustments or a layout resync will be performed.
Temporary Workaround:
If immediate data entry is required, use the Full Create View instead of Quick Create until the layout issue is resolved.
User Case / Example Scenario:
A customer working in the Accounts module noticed that the Outbound Referral section was missing from Quick Create, despite having active field selections.
Additional Notes:
There is no front-end toggle or user-level control to show or hide the Outbound Referral section.
Layout visibility can vary across modules depending on customizations, picklist dependencies, or cloned instance variations.
This issue is not systemic and should be investigated on a case-by-case basis.
