Before You Begin
Administrator access to CRM Settings
KIPU EMR integration already configured and active
Access to the Global EMR Settings section
β οΈ Note: If you don't see Global EMR Settings, your account may not have administrator permissions or the KIPU integration may not be active yet.
Steps
Log in to the CRM and navigate to Settings.
Click on CRM Settings.
Navigate to the Integrations section.
Select Global EMR Settings.
Locate the outbound referral configuration settings for KIPU integration.
Find the Default Referral Stage field for auto-created outbound referrals.
Update the default value from "Admitted to Program" to "Waiting for Response" (or your preferred stage).
Click Save to apply the changes.
Verification / Expected Result
Once configured, KIPU auto-created outbound referrals will:
Default to the configured stage (e.g., "Waiting for Response")
Reflect the correct initial status in reporting
Require no manual stage updates for newly created referrals
β Best Practice: Test the configuration by having KIPU create a sample outbound referral to verify the correct default stage is applied.
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
Default stage not updating:
Confirm the setting was saved in Global EMR Settings
Verify the KIPU integration is active and functioning
Check that outbound referrals are being created through the KIPU integration
Unable to find the setting:
Ensure you have administrator permissions
Contact support if Global EMR Settings is not visible
Changes not reflecting in new referrals:
Allow time for the integration to sync the new configuration
Test with a new outbound referral creation from KIPU
