How to Integrate Alleva with Dazos CRM

This article explains how to connect Alleva EMR with Dazos CRM. The integration allows treatment programs and admission documents to sync between the two systems, ensuring that your clinical and CRM data stay aligned.

Before You Begin

  • You’ll need admin access in Dazos CRM.

  • You’ll need the Client Secret provided by your implementation representative or via your Alleva support point of contact (POC).

  • Confirm the rehab’s Location Alias before starting.

Steps

1. Access EMR Integration Settings.

Log in to your Dazos CRM instance using your usual login link.

2. In the settings panel (right section), click the Integrations icon.

3. From the menu, select EMR Settings.

4. In the EMR settings page, click the Alleva tab in the ribbon.

5. Once you have selected Alleva, click on add account icon in order to start the process.

6. Fill in the following fields:

  • Grant Type: Always set to client_credentials.

  • Client ID: Provided during setup.

  • Client Secret: Supplied by your implementation rep or Alleva support POC.

  • Location Alias: Enter the company or instance prefix. For example, "XWZ Rehab".

Click Save once all fields are completed.

7. Once you have finished the previous, make sure to click "Test Connection".

8. Map Treatment Programs.

  • After a successful connection, click on Add in the Treatment Programs section.

  • Match each treatment program in Alleva EMR with the corresponding program in Dazos CRM.

    • If you’re missing programs or are unsure how to align them, contact your Alleva POC or implementation representative.

9. Map Admission Document Types.

  • Go to the Admission Document section in EMR settings.

  • Click the document type field.

  • By default, document type is usually mapped to the following values:

    • [Pre-Assessment, VOB, etc.]

  • Select the appropriate mapping for your integration.

11. Finalize the Integration

  • Complete any remaining mapping for programs and documents.

  • Review your configuration to ensure all fields are correctly matched.

  • Save changes.

At this point, the Alleva integration should be fully set up and ready for use.

Verification

  • Test connection completes successfully.

  • Treatment programs from Alleva EMR appear in Dazos CRM.

  • Admission documents sync properly between systems.

Troubleshooting / Common Errors

  • Invalid Credentials: Double-check that the Grant Type is client_credentials and that the Client ID/Secret are correct.

  • Missing Programs: Contact your Alleva rep to confirm program setup.

  • Document Types Not Mapping: Ensure you’ve selected an available admission document type from Alleva.
