Before You Begin
An existing iFrame configuration set up for Instant VOBs
Admin access to create custom fields and workflows
Steps
Step 1 — Create a Custom Field
Navigate to your custom fields settings
Create a new custom field (e.g., "iFrame Submission" with Yes/No options)
Set the default value to "No"
Do not check "Show on Submit New Lead" — this field should remain hidden
Step 2 — Configure the iFrame Settings
Go to your iFrame configuration settings
In the default values section, assign a default value of "Yes" to your custom field
The field will automatically appear as hidden on the iFrame form with the "Yes" value
Step 3 — Create the Workflow
Create a new workflow
Set the trigger condition to activate when your custom field equals "Yes"
Configure the email notification action as needed
Save and activate the workflow
How It Works
Source | Custom Field Value | Notification Triggered |
CRM Instant VOB | No (default) | ❌ No notification sent |
iFrame Instant VOB | Yes (auto-assigned) | ✅ Notification triggered |
Tips & Notes
💡 Tip: You don't need to add the field to the visible iFrame form — assigning a default value in iFrame settings is sufficient.
💡 Tip: The field remains completely hidden from users filling out the iFrame form and from staff creating VOBs directly in the CRM.
✅ Best Practice: Test the setup by submitting a test VOB through the iFrame to confirm the workflow notification triggers correctly before going live.
