Symptom / Error
The CRM is successfully receiving data updates from KIPU EMR (including Level of Care updates, discharge dates, and other patient information) as verified in audit logs. However, the "Linked EMR Record" section does not display any link status or EMR connection information in the UI.
Even after manual linking attempts, the connection remains invisible in the interface despite data flowing correctly in the background.
Cause
The "Linked EMR Record" section requires the MR Number field to be present in Intake Opportunity records. If this field has been removed from the record layout, the system cannot display the link status in the UI — even though data synchronization continues working in the background.
Solution
Check the Intake Opportunity record layout to confirm if the MR Number field is present.
If the field has been removed, add it back through your CRM field management settings.
Confirm the MR Number field is properly positioned and visible in the record view.
Navigate to an Intake Opportunity record and verify the "Linked EMR Record" section now displays correctly.
Confirm that existing EMR links are visible and that new linking attempts work properly.
Verification / Expected Result
After restoring the MR Number field:
The "Linked EMR Record" section appears and displays link status correctly
Existing EMR connections become visible in the UI
Manual linking options function correctly
Data synchronization continues to work as expected
⚠️ Important: Keep the MR Number field in place permanently to prevent this issue from recurring.
