Symptom/Error
Module Table Fields (such as 'Substance Use History' and 'Outside Providers') appear correctly when staff open PAA forms internally but completely fail to render when the PAA link is sent to clients via email for external completion.
The tables are entirely absent from the external form, preventing clients from entering required data.
Cause
This is a known systemic issue with the external PAA rendering engine. Module Table Fields/Sub-Modules currently have a rendering limitation that prevents them from loading properly in the external portal that clients access via email links.
The issue affects the front-end rendering of complex field types specifically in the client-facing external view, while the internal staff view displays these tables correctly.
Solution
Since this is a systemic platform limitation, the recommended workaround is to modify your workflow:
Remove Module Tables from client-facing PAAs: Configure your PAA forms sent to clients without Module Table Fields that won't render externally
Use internal screening for Module Tables: Have staff complete Module Table sections (like Substance Use History and Outside Providers) internally during phone screening or in-person intake
Create separate internal forms: Set up internal-only PAA versions that include the Module Tables for staff use during screening calls
Expected Result
After implementing the workaround:
Client-facing PAA links will function properly without missing sections
Staff can collect Module Table data through internal screening processes
All required intake information is captured through the combined external/internal workflow
When to Contact Support
Contact Dazos Support if:
You need assistance setting up internal-only PAA forms with Module Tables
You require help configuring field dependencies to control Module Table visibility
You need guidance on restructuring your intake workflow around this limitation
You want to request updates on when this rendering issue might be resolved
Important Notes
⚠️ Platform Limitation: This issue affects all Module Table Fields/Sub-Modules on external PAA links system-wide, not just specific tables or customer instances.
💡 Workaround Tip: Consider this an opportunity to streamline your client-facing forms while ensuring staff can still collect all necessary clinical data during screening calls.
