Overview
Administrators can now decide, on a per-role basis, whether their users see iVerify-related buttons anywhere they appear in the CRM. A single checkbox on the role's settings controls the Save & iVerify button on Leads Add, the Update & iVerify button on Lead Edit, the Save & iVerify button on Instant VOB Edit, and the iVerify button inside the Select Opportunity For VOB modal. The standard Save, Update, and Cancel buttons on every screen continue to work for everyone.
1. Before You Start
You will need:
Administrator access to the CRM (only admin or customer-admin users can edit Roles and Profiles).
The name of the role (or profile) you want to update.
A test user attached to that role so you can verify the change.
Access requirements: The toggle appears in the VOB module section of the Roles edit screen and the Profiles edit screen. Both screens show the exact same checkbox—pick whichever your team normally uses to manage permissions.
⚠️ Note: If you do not see the checkbox, the latest application update may not be deployed to your instance yet. Contact Dazos support to confirm the upgrade has been applied.
2. Open the Role Settings
From the CRM:
Sign in as an administrator.
Go to Settings → User Management → Roles (or Settings → Profiles—both screens host the same toggle).
Click the role (or profile) you want to update.
Scroll down to the module list and click the VOB row header to expand it.
Look at the Fields header inside the VOB section.
You should now see two checkboxes side by side:
Checkbox | Purpose |
Policy Reimbursement History Access | Existing. Controls whether users on this role can see the Policy Reimbursement History details on a VOB record. |
Save & iVerify Button Access | New. Controls whether users on this role see any of the iVerify-action buttons listed in section 4. |
3. Toggle Save & iVerify Button Access
To hide the iVerify buttons for everyone assigned to this role:
Uncheck the Save & iVerify Button Access checkbox.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
Wait for the confirmation that the role was saved.
That's the entire change. Any user assigned to this role will no longer see the iVerify buttons the next time they open one of the affected screens.
4. Where the Toggle Takes Effect
When the checkbox is unchecked, the following buttons disappear for that user:
Screen | Button hidden | What still shows |
Leads → Add | Save & iVerify (green) | Standard Save button. |
Leads → Edit (when the lead is tied to a VOB) | Update & iVerify (green) | Standard Update button. |
Vobs → Edit (Instant VOB records) | Save & iVerify (green) | Save and Cancel buttons. |
Select Opportunity For VOB modal (opened when starting an Instant VOB) |
iVerify (green) |
Save, Go to full form, and Cancel buttons. |
💡 Tip: The forms themselves, every field on them, and every other workflow (lead-detail actions, related-list actions, automation jobs, etc.) are completely unchanged. Only these specific iVerify-action buttons are gated.
5. Re-enabling the Buttons
To restore the iVerify buttons for a role:
Open the same role (or profile) in Settings → Roles.
Expand the VOB module section.
Check the Save & iVerify Button Access checkbox again.
Click Save.
The buttons will reappear for all users on that role the next time they open one of the screens listed in Section 4.
