Troubleshooting: Green iVerify (Instant VOB) Button Not Showing for a Specific User (CRM)

This guide helps resolve an issue where a specific user cannot see the green iVerify button for Instant VOBs, while other users on the same team can see it. This is typically caused by the Instant VOB permission being toggled off at the individual user pr

Symptom

A user reports that the green iVerify button is missing when attempting to run an Instant VOB. Other reps or users at the same organization can still see and use the button without any issues.

⚠️ Note: If no users can see the iVerify button, this may be a role-level permission issue instead. See the related article: How to Control iVerify Button Access by User Role (CRM).

Cause

The Instant VOB (iVerify) permission can be toggled on or off at the individual user profile level. If this setting was accidentally turned off for a specific user, they will no longer see the green iVerify button — even if all other users can still access it.

Solution

An admin or Dazos Support agent can re-enable the iVerify permission directly from the affected user's profile settings. Follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to Dazos CRM as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to Settings → User Management and locate the affected user's profile.

  3. Open the user's profile settings.

  4. Find the Instant VOB (iVerify) permission toggle and confirm it is turned off.

  5. Re-enable the toggle to turn the permission back on.

  6. Save the changes.

  7. Ask the user to refresh their browser for the change to take effect.

💡 Tip: After the user refreshes their browser, they should see the green iVerify button return to its normal location in the Instant VOB workflow.

Verification / Expected Result

Once the permission has been re-enabled and the user has refreshed their browser, the green iVerify button should reappear. The user can confirm by navigating to the Instant VOB screen and verifying the button is visible.

Escalation

If you do not have admin access to modify user profile settings, or if re-enabling the permission does not resolve the issue, contact Dazos Support. When submitting a ticket, include:

  • The name or username of the affected user

  • Confirmation that other users can still see the iVerify button

  • Any steps already attempted
