Limit iVerify Auto Re-Verification by Treatment Program

Learn how to limit iVerify auto re-verifications to specific treatment programs. This new setting helps you control VOB credit usage by excluding programs that don't need frequent re-verification.

The iVerify automation re-runs Verification of Benefits (VOBs) for your active, in-treatment clients on a schedule. Until now it ran for every active client. With this update you can choose which treatment programs the automation should cover by adding them to a new Treatment Programs selector in your iVerify Automation settings. This lets you focus re-verification on the programs that need it and avoid spending VOB credits on programs that don't.

1. Before You Start

You will need:

  • Administrator access to your iVerify / VOB automation settings.

  • iVerify Automation already enabled for your CRM.

Access requirements: No new role or permission is needed. If you can already open and edit the iVerify Settings screen, you can use this feature.

2. What This Feature Does

A new Treatment Programs field appears in your iVerify Automation settings. It is a multi-select list of your active treatment programs. Whatever you choose there tells the nightly (scheduled) automation, and the Run Automation Now button, which clients to re-verify:

  • Pick one or more programs → the automation re-verifies only the in-treatment clients assigned to those programs.

  • Leave it empty → the automation runs for all programs, exactly as it did before this update.

Why it helps: You control VOB credit usage by excluding programs that don't need frequent re-verification, and concentrate spending on your high-priority programs.

3. How to Set It Up

  1. Go to Settings → CRM Settings → Configuration → iVerify Settings.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. In the iVerify Automation section, find the new Treatment Programs field (just under the iVerify Automation switch). Hover the information icon next to it for a quick reminder of how it works.

  4. Click the field and select one or more treatment programs you want the automation to cover. To cover everything, simply leave the field empty.

  5. Set your schedule/frequency as usual.

  6. Click Save.

After saving, the iVerify Settings detail screen shows your chosen programs. If you left the field empty, it shows All.

4. How the Filter Behaves

The filter looks at each client's Treatment Program on their opportunity. Only clients whose program matches one of your selected programs are included in the run.

5. What to Expect After Saving

  • Your choice takes effect on the next scheduled automation run, or immediately if you use Run Automation Now. There is nothing to restart.

  • The iVerify automation report/log for the run will reflect only the clients from your selecte programs.

  • VOB credit usage for the run reflects only the programs that were processed.

  • You can change the selection any time — add programs, remove programs, or clear it to go back to "all".

6. Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I don't select anything?

The automation runs for all treatment programs, exactly as it did before. Selecting nothing is the same as "include everything".

When do my changes take effect?

On the next scheduled run, or right away if you click Run Automation Now. No service restart is required.

Does this affect VOBs I run manually?

No. This only controls the automated re-verification run. Running a VOB by hand is unaffected.

Will an excluded program ever be auto re-verified?

Not while it is excluded. To include it again, add it back to the Treatment Programs field (or clear the field to cover all programs) and save.

Where do the program options come from?

They are your existing active treatment programs — the same list used elsewhere in the CRM. No extra setup is needed.

7. Need Help?

If the Treatment Programs field does not appear on your iVerify Settings screen, or the automation isn't honoring your selection, contact Dazos support and reference CRM-2953.
