Insurance Payer Code Mapping Between Dazos and Alleva EMR — Current Limitations (CRM)

Insurance Payer Code Mapping Between Dazos and Alleva EMR — Current Limitations

Overview

This article explains the current limitations of payer code mapping between Dazos and the Alleva EMR integration. If you are hoping to send insurance payer codes from Dazos directly to Alleva, please read this article before submitting a support request.

Current Status

At this time, Dazos does not expose payer codes within the Alleva EMR integration. This means it is not currently possible to map or send payer codes from Dazos to Alleva through the integration settings.

Responsibility for integrating and consuming payer codes on the Alleva side lies with Alleva, not Dazos. This is a platform-level limitation and is not something that can be configured or worked around within Dazos today.

⚠️ Note: This limitation applies specifically to the Alleva EMR integration. Payer code mapping is available for other EMR integrations, such as Kipu. See the Related Resources section below for more information.

Why This Matters

Some facilities use insurance payer codes to ensure accurate billing, claims processing, and patient record synchronization between their CRM and EMR systems. Without the ability to pass payer codes from Dazos to Alleva, this data must be managed directly within Alleva or through an alternative process on the Alleva side.

How to Submit a Feature Request

If payer code mapping between Dazos and Alleva is important to your workflow, you can request this functionality for consideration by the Dazos development team.

  1. Contact Dazos Support and describe your use case for payer code mapping with Alleva.

  2. Our team will log your request as a formal feature request for review by the development team.

  3. Feature requests are evaluated alongside other enhancement requests from customers. While submission does not guarantee the feature will be added or provide a timeline, all requests are reviewed.

💡 Tip: The more detail you provide about your specific workflow and business need, the more useful your feature request will be for the development team.

Tips & Notes

  • ⚠️ This is not a configuration error or a bug — it is a current product limitation specific to the Alleva integration.

  • ✅ If you are using Kipu EMR, payer code mapping is fully supported. See the related article below for setup instructions.
