Dazos CRM Instance Not Appearing in Intercom After Company Mapping

This guide explains why a Dazos CRM instance added to the Intercom Company Mapping field may not appear in Intercom under Companies — and how to resolve it.

Symptom

You have added a CRM instance to the Intercom Company Mapping field in the Admin Dazos instance, but after 24 hours (or more), the company does not appear in Intercom under Companies.

Cause

The Dazos-to-Intercom company sync requires at least one user to exist in the CRM instance. If no users have been added to the CRM instance yet, the company will not sync to Intercom — regardless of how long you wait.

Without at least one user associated with the CRM instance, there is no data for Intercom to map the company to, so the sync does not occur.

Solution

  1. Navigate to the CRM instance that is not appearing in Intercom.

  2. Go to Settings → User Management.

  3. Confirm whether any users exist in the instance. If no users are listed, the instance will not sync.

  4. Add at least one user to the CRM instance. (Refer to the How to Create a User in Dazos CRM article if needed.)

  5. Once a user has been added, the company mapping sync to Intercom will occur automatically. No additional action is required.

⚠️ Note: You do not need to re-add the instance to the Intercom Company Mapping field. Simply adding a user to the existing CRM instance is sufficient to trigger the sync.

Verification / Expected Result

After adding at least one user to the CRM instance, the company should appear in Intercom under Companies. The sync happens automatically once the user requirement is met.

Escalation

If the company still does not appear in Intercom after adding users and allowing time for the sync to process, please contact Dazos Support for further investigation.
