Overview
The iConnect integration is set up between RVK and Dazos as part of a live transfer configuration. Two questions commonly arise during setup: whether the iConnect API key is the same as a CTM token, and what the "iConnect webhook URL" refers to. Both have specific answers that are easy to confuse with other integrations — this article clarifies each one.
Is the iConnect API Key the Same as the CTM Token?
No. The API key used for the iConnect integration is completely separate from any CTM token. These are two distinct integrations with no shared credentials.
The iConnect API key is uniquely tied to the iConnect integration between RVK and Dazos.
The CTM token belongs to the CTM integration and is unrelated to iConnect.
Do not substitute one for the other — they serve entirely different purposes and systems.
What Is the "iConnect Webhook URL"?
The iConnect webhook URL is not a standard Dazos CRM webhook capture URL (such as a capture.php POST endpoint generated from CRM Settings). It is also not an outgoing webhook where iConnect provides a callback URL to the CRM.
The iConnect webhook URL is a URL that RVK owns and manages as part of the iConnect live transfer setup. RVK already has the URLs they need to post to — this is handled on their side as part of their iConnect configuration, not through the standard Dazos CRM webhook tools.
Key Points to Remember
iConnect API key ≠ CTM token. They are separate credentials for separate integrations.
The iConnect webhook URL is not generated from Dazos CRM webhook settings. Do not direct customers to create a webform or webhook in CRM Settings for this purpose.
RVK manages the iConnect webhook URL. It is part of their iConnect live transfer infrastructure.
If a customer or partner asks about the iConnect webhook URL or API key during setup, the correct path is to connect them with the appropriate contact who manages the RVK–Dazos iConnect configuration — not to guide them through standard Dazos webhook or API token steps.
When to Contact Support
If you are assisting a customer with an iConnect integration and questions arise about credentials or URLs that go beyond what is documented here, escalate to the appropriate internal team member who oversees the RVK and Dazos iConnect setup. Do not attempt to resolve iConnect-specific configuration questions by applying standard Dazos CRM webhook or CTM integration guidance.
