Customer Identifier Resource "Does Not Exist" Error When Purchasing VOB Credits (CRM)

Overview

When attempting to purchase iVerify (Instant VOB) credits in the Dazos CRM, you receive the following error after entering your card details and attempting to complete the purchase:

"Customer identifier resource does not exist"

This error prevents the credit purchase from completing.

Possible Causes

  • The billing configuration for your account is missing a required billing system ID — for example, the Alleva billing system ID — which is needed for the system to process the transaction.

  • The billing system ID is present but has been incorrectly configured.

⚠️ Important: This error is not typically caused by a declined card, missing payment method, or past-due balance. If you have a valid card on file and no outstanding balance but still see this error, the root cause is likely a missing or misconfigured billing system ID — not a payment issue.

Solution

  1. Contact Dazos Support. This issue requires a backend configuration fix. End users cannot resolve a missing billing system ID from within the CRM themselves.

  2. Support will review your billing configuration to verify that the correct billing system ID (e.g., Alleva billing system ID) is present and properly set up on your account.

  3. Once the billing system ID has been added or corrected by the support team, return to the CRM and retry the credit purchase:

    • Log in to your Dazos CRM.

    • Navigate to iVerify Settings.

    • Click Purchase Credits.

    • Select your credit tier and payment method.

    • Click Purchase Credits to complete the transaction.

Still Need Help?
