Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
A valid Dazos API session identifier (
sessionName)Access to the Leads or IntakeOpportunity module via the Dazos API
A REST client (such as Postman) or equivalent tool to send API requests
Overview
When filtering Leads or IntakeOpportunity records by created or modified date in the Dazos API, the date filter must not be placed inside search_params. Instead, it must be sent as a separate top-level parameter called modified_time (with an underscore).
Sending the date filter inside search_params will not work and will return unfiltered results.
Steps
Build your request body as usual, including your
sessionName,record, andpageparameters.
Add
modified_timeas a top-level parameter — not insidesearch_params. Use a date value inYYYY-MM-DDformat.
A single date returns all records modified on or after that date:
{ "sessionName": "<valid session>", "record": 100, "page": 1, "modified_time": "2026-09-26" }To filter by a date range, send both the start and end dates separated by a comma within the same
modified_timevalue:{ "sessionName": "<valid session>", "record": 100, "page": 1, "modified_time": "2026-09-26,2026-10-14" }This returns records modified on or after
2026-09-26and on or before2026-10-14.
Send the request and verify that the returned records fall within your specified date range.
Result
After completing these steps, the API will return Leads or IntakeOpportunity records filtered by the date or date range you specified. Records outside the specified window will be excluded from the response.
Important notes:
This parameter applies to both the Leads and IntakeOpportunity modules.
Do not include the date filter inside
search_params— doing so will not filter the results.modified_timemust be spelled with an underscore, as a top-level key in the request body.A single date value filters for records modified on or after that date.
A comma-separated pair of dates (e.g.,
"2026-09-26,2026-10-14") filters for records within that range.
