How to Create an Instant VOB using iVerify (CRM)

In the Dazos CRM, there are a few ways in which you can run an Instant VOB using iVerify. This article will go over how to create Instant VOBs, the different areas in your instance you can perform this action, and which method may be most appropriate for you and why.

📘 Creating an Instant VOB when Converting a Lead

If you are working in the Leads Module, it is possible to create an Instant VOB when converting your Lead to an Account with an Intake Opportunity.

  1. After you have filled out the details and information gathered from your Lead and are ready to convert your Lead to an Account with an Intake Opportunity, click the green

    button next to your blue icon ribbon on the top of your screen.

  1. After clicking “Convert Lead”, a pop-up window will appear with the “Create Account” and “Create Intake Opportunity” boxes already checked off. Below these options, you will notice an unchecked “Create Instant VOB”

    option. Click this checkbox to expand this section in order to create an Instant VOB.

  2. If the Payer Code and Health Plan ID were filled in during the Lead Stage, this will autopopulate the information here. If not, enter in the patient’s health insurance here.

  3. Once all mandatory fields are filled out, click “Save” on the bottom.

  4. Once you click “Save”, three things will happen:

    1. An Account will be created (“patient file”).

    2. An Intake Opportunity will be created (“episode of care” - where fields related to treatment live).

    3. A VOB will be created and will use one of your iVerify credits.

    4. You will be redirected to the VOB directly in the iVerify Module.

  5. When taken to the Instant VOB, click the “Run iVerify” button on the top right of your screen.

Don’t Forget: Since you are being redirected to the actual VOB, you want to make sure that you go back to continue working in the Intake Opportunity.

📘 During the Intake Opportunity Stage

If you were working in the Leads Module, you may not have received the patient’s insurance information to run an Instant VOB prior to converting to an Account + Intake Opportunity. If your Lead was already converted, you can still add the insurance information later while in the Intake Opportunity stage and run an Instant VOB at that time.

  1. Go into the Intake Opportunities module.

    1. If you were working in the Leads Stage and converted your Lead, you will be redirected to Accounts. Cick on the first blue box

      in the blue ribbon above to go to the Intake Opportunity.

    2. On the left-hand side of your screen, click “Admissions”

      and “Intake Opportunities will show below in the drop-down menu.

  2. When in the Intake Opportunities module, click on the fourth blue box in the blue ribbon above

    to create a VOB.

  1. Click on the “+Add VOB” button

    to create a new VOB. You will have the option to create either a Full/Live VOB or an Instant VOB using iVerify.

  1. After you’ve chosen “Instant VOB”, click on “Go to Full Form”

    and complete at least the mandatory fields marked with a red asterisk. If the insurance was included previously, you can click the “iVerify” button instead.

  2. Once you are done, on the bottom of the screen you can click “Save” to save your work, or “Save and iVerify” to use one of your iVerify credits and run an Instant VOB.
