Exporting records from Kipu CRM for data migration (CRM)

Before You Begin

Before starting the export process, make sure you have:

  • Access to your Kipu CRM account with appropriate permissions to export data.

  • Identified the records or pipeline you want to export (e.g., active, incomplete, or by date).

  • A secure location to save the exported CSV file.


Steps

  1. Log in to your Kipu CRM instance.

  2. From the main menu, click “CRM.”

  3. Select “Pipeline.”

  4. Make sure the “Viewing Active.” toggle is on.

  5. Then, verify with the customer if the “Viewing Incomplete.” records are needed

  6. Right-click anywhere inside the table to get the pop-up menu.

  7. Select “Export.”

  8. Finally, click “Export to CSV.”

💡 Tip: Save the CSV file to a secure and accessible location for your migration team.


Expected Result

Once the export is complete, a CSV file containing the selected records should be downloaded to your device.

  • Open the file to confirm all expected columns and data are included.

  • Check for accuracy before importing the data into your new system.
