Overview
This article explains how to set up the integration between Dazos CRM and KIPU EMR. Once configured, the integration automatically pushes key records from Dazos into KiPu, including:
VOBs (Instant and Full/Live) if using iVerify
Pre-Assessments
And supported fields according to the KIPU API documentation.
Before You Begin
You’ll need admin access in Dazos CRM.
You’ll need the Recipient ID key provided in your ticket.
Confirm that you have the rehab facility’s name (used as the Location Alias).
Steps
1. Navigate to Integration Settings
In Dazos, go to Settings > CRM Settings > Integration > EMR Settings.
Click on the KIPU tab.
2. Add the KiPu Account
Click Add Account.
Copy the key from your ticket and paste it into the Recipient ID field.
Enter the following Access ID and Secret Key (these are always the same for all accounts):
Access ID:
e_52dGU79PO57Fqy6yU8AxE-78TuL5CKx9w3dX7wHWoSecret Key:
oU3ZnAlWmPB7MR180qy9PRaQDieTGslAWOxAwmXjjNHnVppxOw7kFQ/9m37SIr8JsxMN+Mw1RyfrLjCLEMXKRg==
(Be attentive on not leaving any space within the key, since this could cause a failure within the connectivity)
For Location Alias, enter the company or instance prefix. For example, "XWZ Rehab".
Click Save.
Click Test Connection to validate.
3. Configure Program and Status Mapping
Note: It can take up to 1 hour for Admitted Status and Discharge Types to pull in from KiPu.
However, Treatment Programs can be configured immediately.
Under Treatment Programs, click Add.
Match each program block from KiPu EMR to the corresponding field in Dazos.
If unsure what to map, confirm with the customer or implementation representative.
For the Process Type Setting, copy the following for all items (this enables PDF push into the EMR):
For LOC EMR Programs, update the Admitting LOC picklist in Dazos to match the EMR, then map accordingly.
4. Manual Field Mapping
The Street Address field must always be mapped manually (it does not pull automatically).
If you need help with this step, please contact the technical services team.
Verification
The connection test passes successfully.
VOBs and Pre-Assessments from Dazos begin pushing into KiPu as PDFs.
Treatment Programs, Admitted Status, and Discharge Types sync correctly after setup.
All mapped fields push over from Dazos to KIPU.
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
Test Connection Fails: Recheck Recipient ID, Access ID, and Secret Key.
Status/Discharge Types Not Showing: Allow up to 1 hour for data sync from KiPu.
Incorrect Mappings: Confirm field alignment with the customer’s EMR setup.
