Before You Begin
Admin Access: You must have Administrator permissions in your Dazos CRM instance.
Active CTM Integration: Your CTM integration must already be configured and functioning.
Identify Affected Fields: Confirm which fields are being overwritten (typically Lead Source and Campaign Source).
Steps
Navigate to CTM Integration Settings
Log in to your Dazos CRM instance. Go to Settings > CRM Settings > Integration > VOIP Settings.
Locate Field Mappings
Find the field mapping section that shows how CTM data maps to your CRM fields. Look specifically for:Unmap the Fields
To prevent CTM from overwriting these fields:Remove or disable the mapping for Lead Source
Remove or disable the mapping for Campaign Source
This will stop CTM from automatically updating these fields during subsequent calls.
βSave Changes
Click Save or Update to apply the new mapping configuration.
βTest the Configuration
Create a test lead and manually set the Lead Source and Campaign Source fields. Have the same phone number call back through CTM and verify that your manually set values are not overwritten.
Verification / Expected Result
Success State: After unmapping these fields, CTM will continue to log call activities and create new leads, but it will no longer overwrite existing Lead Source and Campaign Source values on subsequent calls from the same number.
What You Should See:
New leads from first-time callers will still be created normally
Call activities will continue to be logged in the Activities section
Manually set Lead Source and Campaign Source fields will remain unchanged when leads call back
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
Fields Still Being Overwritten: If the fields are still being updated after unmapping, wait a few minutes for the configuration to take effect, then test again with a new call.
Integration Stops Working Completely: If CTM stops creating leads entirely, verify that you only unmapped the specific fields (Lead Source and Campaign Source) and didn't disable the entire integration.
Cannot Find Mapping Settings: Ensure you have Administrator permissions. The CTM mapping settings are typically only visible to users with full admin access.
