Cause
This issue typically occurs when there is a field mismatch between the data payload being sent from CTM and the expected field mappings in the CRM. The problem originates at the CTM integration level rather than during the lead conversion process within Dazos.
When CTM sends data with incorrect field names or formats after an update, the campaign information fails to populate in the initial lead record, making it unavailable during conversion to intake opportunities.
Solution
Follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the mapping issue:
Check CTM Integration Field Mappings:
Review Integration Logs:
Access your integration logs to verify what data is actually being received from CTM
Look for any field name discrepancies or missing campaign data in the payload
Compare the incoming data structure with your current mapping configuration
Verify Field Mapping Configuration:
Confirm that the CTM fields are correctly mapped to the corresponding CRM lead fields
Check if field names or data formats have changed in CTM after the system update
Ensure that the Campaign Source field exists and is active in both CTM and your CRM
Test Lead Creation:
Create a test lead through CTM to verify if campaign data is now being captured
Convert the test lead to an intake opportunity to confirm the mapping is working end-to-end
Escalation
If the Campaign Source continues not to map after following these steps, contact Dazos Support with the following information:
The exact date when the mapping stopped working
Examples of affected lead records (URLs preferred)
Screenshots of your current CTM field mapping configuration
Any recent changes made to CTM settings or forms
⚠️ Note: This is considered a high-priority issue as it affects lead attribution and marketing analytics.
