After entering a valid JotForm API key in Dazos CRM settings, you may see a blue error banner that says: "No forms found. Make sure your API key is correct and JotForm is activated."
This happens even though you know your API key is valid and your JotForm account currently has active forms.
Cause: HIPAA Account Endpoint Mismatch
This error typically occurs when your JotForm account is HIPAA-enabled (also known as "Safe Mode"). HIPAA-enabled JotForm accounts use a different, secure API endpoint (hipaa-api.jotform.com) instead of the standard endpoint (api.jotform.com).
When Dazos attempts to connect using the standard endpoint, JotForm returns a 301 redirect error, which causes the integration to fail.
How to Verify Your Account Type
To confirm if your JotForm account is HIPAA-enabled, log into your JotForm account. Check your account settings or look for "HIPAA" or "Safe Mode" indicators. HIPAA accounts typically feature these additional compliance settings.
Solution: Backend Endpoint Configuration
