How Email Replies Work in iCampaign Campaigns

Email replies to iCampaign campaigns don't automatically appear in iCampaign like SMS replies do. Instead, they go to the sending email address you configure, and you can then integrate them with your CRM using Mail Manager or Mail Converter.

Before You Begin

To receive and manage email replies from your iCampaign emails, you need:

  • Access to the email address you want to use as the sending/reply address

  • CRM Mail Manager or Mail Converter set up (optional, for CRM integration)

Steps to Set Up Email Reply Handling

Step 1: Configure Your Sending Email Address

When setting up your iCampaign email campaign, make sure the "Sending Email" or "From" email address is one you have direct access to. This is where all replies will be delivered.

⚠️ Important: Unlike SMS replies which appear in iCampaign's Conversations area, email replies will not appear anywhere in iCampaign without proper setup.

Step 2: Monitor Your Email Inbox

Any replies to your campaign emails will land directly in the mailbox of the sending email address you configured. Check this inbox regularly to see responses from your campaign recipients.

Step 3: Set Up CRM Integration (Optional)

To view email replies within your CRM system:

  1. Configure the CRM's Mail Manager or Mail Converter

  2. Connect it to access the same email account used as your sending address

  3. Email replies will then be imported and linked to the appropriate CRM records

Expected Result

After completing this setup:

  • Email replies will arrive in your designated sending email inbox

  • If Mail Manager/Mail Converter is configured, replies will also appear in your CRM

  • You'll have a complete communication history accessible from your preferred platform
