Bedboards won't import from Lightning Step.
Cause
Bedboard import is only supported with KIPU EMR. Lightning Step does not offer automated bed import into Dazos CRM.
⚠️ Note: There is no "Import beds from Lightning Step" option in the system. Bedboards must be added manually.
Solution
Step 1 — Manually add bedboards and beds in Dazos CRM.
Step 2 — Set up Field Mapping to sync patient data.
Navigate to your Lightning Step connection settings in Dazos
Click Lightning Step Fields Mapping next to the connection
Map the corresponding fields between both systems
💡 Tip: Field mapping enables bidirectional sync for demographics, contacts, and patient information — but it is not the same as bedboard-to-bedboard sync available with KIPU.
✅ Best Practice: Complete field mapping before assigning patients to beds to ensure data flows correctly from day one.
