Before You Begin
You will need admin access to Module Management and account layout configuration. Identify which field you want to move and confirm the destination section where it should appear.
Steps
Navigate to Module Management: Go to Settings → CRM Settings → Module Management → Module Layouts & Fields
Select the Account Module: Choose "Accounts" from the module list to access patient account field configurations
Locate the Field: Find the field you want to move (e.g., Re-Admit Status) in its current section
Enable the Key Field Attribute: Enable the checkbox on the field to make it a "Key Field" and save the field.
Adjust Layout Order (Optional): If needed, reorganize the key fields and move your field to its desired location in the Summary tab by navigating to the Arrange Key Fields tab within the layout editor and moving the key fields around to your desired order.
Verification / Expected Result
After completing these steps:
The field will appear in the Key Fields section of the patient Account Summary
Staff will see the field information immediately when opening patient accounts
The field will be easily visible to prevent issues like accidentally admitting DNR patients
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
Field not appearing in the new location: Verify that you saved the configuration changes and that the field is properly enabled in the Key Fields section.
Layout changes not visible: Clear your browser cache or log out and back in to see the updated layout.
Field still showing in old location: Check that the field was properly moved from its original section during the move process.
