Before You Begin
Verify that the following conditions are met:
Your Sunwave integration is properly configured and mapped.
You have active access to edit Intake Opportunity records in Dazos CRM.
Treatment programs are correctly mapped between Dazos and Sunwave.
⚠️ CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: The Admitting to LOC field is strictly required for the Sunwave integration. Patient pushes will completely fail if this field is left blank or not populated with a valid Level of Care value.
Steps to Prepare and Push the Patient
Step 1: Navigate to the Intake Opportunity
Open the specific patient's Intake Opportunity record that you are preparing to push to Sunwave.
Step 2: Locate and Populate the LOC Field
Find the Admitting to LOC (Level of Care) field within the intake opportunity details. Choose the appropriate value from the dropdown menu that accurately matches both the patient's treatment requirements and your facility's available programs.
Step 3: Save the Record
Save the Intake Opportunity record to ensure the new LOC selection is securely stored in the system prior to the push.
Step 4: Push the Patient to Sunwave
Navigate back to the main Intake Opportunities section and locate the patient record in the list view. Click the More button (the three dots) on the right side of the entry and select Create Patient in Sunwave from the dropdown menu.
Verification / Expected Result
When the push is successful, you will experience the following:
A green "Payload Confirmation" success message will appear in the top right corner of your screen.
You will not receive any "failed treatment program not mapped" error messages.
The patient record will appear correctly populated inside Sunwave with the proper LOC assignment.
Troubleshooting & Common Errors
Error: "failed treatment program not mapped"
The Cause: This error triggers when the Admitting to LOC field is completely empty, or if the selected treatment program is not properly mapped between Dazos and Sunwave on the backend.
The Solution: Double-check the Intake Opportunity to ensure the Admitting to LOC field contains a valid selection and save the record. If the field is populated but the error persists, contact Dazos Support to have the treatment program mapping configured.
