Troubleshooting Viable VOB Field Edit Permissions After System Updates (CRM)

Purpose

This guide helps resolve editing issues with the 'Viable VOB' checkbox field in the Web Traffic section after system updates. This field is critical for Google Ads conversion tracking through CTM integration.

Symptom/Error

After a system update, you cannot edit the 'Viable VOB' checkbox field in the Web Traffic section of Intake Opportunities. The pencil edit icon is missing or the field appears locked.

This prevents proper CRM communication with Google Ads through CTM for conversion tracking.

Cause

System updates may occasionally apply restrictions that disable direct editing permissions for specific fields, including the Viable VOB checkbox.

Solution

Contact Dazos Support to have the field editing permissions restored. Our technical team can:

  1. Verify the field restriction status in your account settings

  2. Re-enable field editing permissions for the Viable VOB checkbox

  3. Restore the pencil edit icon functionality

After permissions are restored:

  1. Refresh your browser completely

  2. Navigate to the Web Traffic section in your Intake Opportunity

  3. Confirm the pencil edit icon appears next to the Viable VOB checkbox

  4. Test editing the field to ensure it saves properly

When to Contact Support

Contact Dazos Support immediately if:

  • The Viable VOB checkbox cannot be edited after a system update

  • The pencil edit icon is missing from critical fields

  • Your Google Ads conversion tracking is impacted due to field restrictions
