Current Integration Capabilities
MailChimp Integration in CRM (Not iCampaign)
The MailChimp integration exists in the Dazos CRM, where it:
Syncs CRM records to MailChimp
Pulls campaign activity (opens, clicks) back into CRM records
Does not sync MailChimp subscribers into iCampaign
How iCampaign Gets Subscribers
CRM Sync: New CRM records sync to iCampaign in real time
Manual Entry: Individual contacts added directly
CSV Import: Bulk subscriber uploads
Alternative Solutions
Option 1 — CSV Export and Import
Best for one-time MailChimp subscriber migrations.
Export your audience from MailChimp as a CSV file
In iCampaign, go to Subscribers
Click Import from the Additional Subscriber Options menu
Upload the CSV file and map columns during import
Complete the import to add contacts as iCampaign subscribers
Option 2 — Zapier Integration Through CRM
Best for ongoing MailChimp newsletter signups flowing into iCampaign automatically.
Set up a Zapier integration (Dazos is a verified Zapier app)
Create a Zap that triggers on "New MailChimp Subscriber"
Configure the action to create a new CRM record
The new CRM record will automatically sync to iCampaign in real time
Tips & Notes
💡 Tip: Use the Zapier approach for ongoing automation and CSV import for one-time migrations.
⚠️ Important: MailChimp signups will only appear in iCampaign if they first create a record in the CRM through manual entry, Zapier, or another CRM integration.
✅ Best Practice: Consider using iCampaign as your primary email marketing platform to avoid maintaining separate subscriber lists across both tools.
