How to Configure Email Notifications for Tag Alerts in User Profile Settings (CRM)

This guide explains how to ensure users receive email notifications when they are tagged in Dazos. If a user is not receiving group or personal tag email notifications, the issue is typically related to their individual notification settings.

Before You Begin

  • You must have administrative access to modify user profiles

  • The affected user's profile must be accessible in your Dazos instance

Steps

  1. Navigate to the User's Profile
    Access the user profile for the employee who is not receiving tag notifications.

  2. Locate Notification Settings
    Find the notification settings section within the user's profile configuration.

  3. Configure Tag Email Notifications
    Update the user's notification preferences to ensure they are set to receive email notifications for:

    • Personal tags

    • Group tags

  4. Save Changes
    Apply and save the updated notification settings.

Verification / Expected Result

After updating the notification settings:

  • The user should begin receiving email notifications when tagged in future posts

  • Both personal and group tag notifications will be delivered to their email inbox

  • The changes take effect immediately for new tags

Troubleshooting / Common Issues

User Still Not Receiving Notifications: If the user continues to not receive tag notifications after updating their profile settings, verify that:

  • The email address in their profile is correct and active

  • Their email provider is not blocking emails from Dazos (check spam/junk folders)

  • The notification settings were properly saved
