Overview
This guide explains how to turn off email notifications that are triggered when a user is tagged in a comment, without affecting other users or disabling in-app (bell) notifications in the Dazos CRM.
Before You Begin
You must have administrative access to manage user preferences in Dazos CRM.
This change is applied per user — it will not affect notification settings for any other user in your organization.
The user's in-app CRM bell notifications will remain active after this change.
Steps
Navigate to Settings in your Dazos CRM dashboard.
Go to User Management and locate the user whose email notifications you want to disable.
Open the user's profile by clicking the Edit button (pencil icon) next to their name.
In the user's preferences, locate the System Email Notifications setting and toggle it no.
Save the changes to the user's profile.
Verification / Expected Result
After completing these steps, the user will no longer receive email notifications when tagged in a comment. Their in-app CRM bell notifications will continue to work normally. No other users' notification settings will be affected.
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
User is still receiving comment tag emails after saving: Try toggling the System Email Notifications setting back on, saving, and then toggling it off again and saving once more. This re-applies the setting and has been confirmed to resolve the issue in some cases.
If the problem persists after retrying, please contact Dazos Support for further investigation.
Tips & Notes
⚠️ Note: This setting controls system-level email notifications for the individual user. Disabling it will stop comment tag emails for that user only — all other users retain their own independent notification settings.
💡 Tip: If the user wants to completely stop all email noise from the CRM but still stay informed via in-app alerts, this is the recommended setting to adjust.
