Before You Begin
You must have administrative permissions to manage user roles and permissions
Identify which user needs Module Builder access
The user experiencing the issue should be available to test the solution after implementation
Log in to your Dazos CRM instance and go to Settings → Users.
Locate the user and click the Edit (pencil icon) next to their name.
In their profile, verify their role is set to Admin, Executive, or Director — only these roles have access to Module Builder. If their role is different, update it accordingly.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Note: Please make sure the person requesting this change is an Admin, Executive, or Director themselves, as only those roles are authorized to request and perform Module Builder access changes.
Instruct User to Log Out and Back In
Contact the user and ask them to log out of their Dazos session completely, then log back in for the permission changes to take effect.
Verification / Expected Result
After the user logs back in, they should be able to access Module Builder functionality without receiving the 'Access Denied' error message. The Module Builder features should now be available in their interface.
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
User still seeing 'Access Denied' after logging back in:
Verify that the role permissions were saved correctly
Check if there are multiple permission levels that need to be updated
Ensure the user is completely logged out (not just closed the browser tab)
Clear the browser cache and cookies if the issue persists
Cannot find Module Builder permissions:
Contact Dazos support for assistance with locating the correct permission settings
Module Builder access may be controlled at a different permission level than expected
