Before You Begin
You must have Administrator access to the Dazos CRM to manage user settings and roles.
Identify which users or roles need access to document names within Intake Opportunities.
Steps
Option 1: Grant Admin Access to a User
If a specific user needs to view document names, you can elevate their access level to Admin directly from the Manage Users tab.
Log in to your Dazos CRM instance.
Navigate to Settings (gear icon) → Users → Manage Users.
Locate the user who needs access and click the Edit (pencil) icon next to their name.
Update their role to Admin.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Ask the user to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
⚠️ Note: Granting full Admin access gives users elevated permissions across the CRM — not just for document names. Only do this if appropriate for that user's responsibilities.
Option 2: Adjust Role Permissions
If you prefer not to assign full Admin access, you may be able to enable document name visibility for specific roles by reviewing field visibility and role configuration settings.
Navigate to Settings → Users → Manage Users.
Review the role assigned to the affected users.
Check the role's configuration and field visibility settings to see if document name visibility can be enabled for that role.
Save any changes and ask affected users to log out and log back in.
💡 Tip: If you're unsure which role permission controls document name visibility, contact Dazos Support for guidance on the correct field visibility setting to update.
Verification / Expected Result
After applying the changes and the user logs back in, they should be able to open an Intake Opportunity and see the names of any attached documents. If the names still do not appear, verify that the role or permission changes were saved correctly.
Troubleshooting / Common Errors
Document names still not visible after saving: Ensure the user has fully logged out and back in. Browser cache may need to be cleared.
Cannot locate role permission settings: Contact Dazos Support — they can help identify the correct permission or field visibility setting for your role configuration.
Don't want to grant full Admin access: Use Option 2 to explore role-level field visibility adjustments before elevating a user to Admin.
