How to Set Up VOB Document Folder Mapping for KIPU EMR Integration (CRM)

Overview: This guide shows you how to configure VOB document folder mapping so that uploaded VOB PDFs are automatically sent to the correct financial section in KIPU EMR when patients are pushed over.

Before You Begin

  • Administrative access to both the Documents module and EMR Settings in Dazos

Steps

Step 1 — Create a VOB Folder in the Documents Module

  1. Navigate to the Documents module in your platform

  2. Create a new folder named "VOB".

Step 2 — Map the VOB Folder to KIPU

  1. Go to EMR Settings

  2. Locate the folder mapping configuration

  3. Map the VOB folder to the desired KIPU section (e.g., Financial)

  4. Save the mapping configuration

Step 3 — Upload VOB Documents

  1. Navigate to the patient record in the Patients module

  2. Access the Documents section

  3. Upload all VOB PDFs into the VOB folder

Verification / Expected Result

When you push a patient to KIPU EMR, documents stored in the VOB folder will automatically transfer to the mapped KIPU section (Financial) based on your folder mapping configuration.

Troubleshooting / Common Errors

VOB option not appearing as a folder choice in mapping:

  • The VOB folder has not been created yet in the Documents module

  • Complete Step 1 first, then return to the folder mapping configuration

⚠️ Note: Only documents placed in mapped folders will be transferred to KIPU EMR. Always confirm VOB documents are uploaded to the correct folder before pushing a patient.

💡 Tip: The folder must exist in the Documents module before it can be mapped in EMR Settings. Always complete Step 1 before Step 2.
