Fields That Cannot Be Edited in List Views
Fields with dependencies cannot be edited from list views. This includes:
Sales Stage fields
Any other fields that have conditional logic or dependencies on other field values
This restriction exists because dependent fields require the system to validate relationships with other fields, which cannot be properly handled in the list view interface.
How to Edit Dependent Fields
To edit fields with dependencies, you must:
Open the individual record from the list view
Navigate to the record's detail page
Edit the field directly within the record
Save your changes
Expected Result
When you edit dependent fields from the record detail page, the system will properly validate all field relationships and dependencies before saving your changes.
