In the Dazos CRM, a critical step to maintaining your modules (Leads, Accounts, Intake Opps, etc.) and patient data is editing records with the latest relevant information.

In this article, we are going to introduce you to the four different ways you can update or edit fields in the Dazos CRM.

Edit In Line with the Pencil Icon

Next to each field in Dazos, there is a blue pencil icon

. When clicking this, it allows you to edit and save one field at a time. This option is best used when only one or two edits are needed.

Edit Multiple Fields at Once with the Full Page Edit

On the right side of each record in Dazos, you’ll notice a pencil icon in your toolbar.

When clicking this pencil icon (versus in line with a specific field), you’ll be given the option to edit all of your fields on that patient’s record.

In the screenshot on the right, you can see exactly where the full page edit button is in comparison to editing each field in-line.

Below you’ll see a screenshot of the page you’re redirected to once the edit page button has been clicked.

Quick Edit Multiple Fields from Any List View

When using any list view in Dazos, you can double click in that record and edit any of the columns in that section. You can then click the little green check mark to save those changes.

Mass Edit a Fields on Multiple Records from Any List View

When using any list view in Dazos you’re able to mass select records and update multiple fields on those records.

  1. Open your list view in Dazos for the module records you’d like to edit

  2. Click the white check box on the far left for each record you’d like to edit or click the check box at the top of your columns to edit all records on the list

  3. Click the Yellow pencil icon

to mass edit records where mass edit is enabled. If you’d like to enable new fields to be available for mass editing, you can do this by updating that field’s settings in “Module Layouts & Fields”

  4. Save your changes.
