How to Update Dashboard Default Date Ranges to Current Month (CRM)

Overview: If your dashboards are showing incorrect default date ranges (such as displaying March 2025 instead of March 2026), you can manually update the date range settings using the gear icon on each dashboard.

Before You Begin

  • Confirm you have access to the dashboards you want to update

  • Note that "My Dashboard" typically maintains correct date ranges and may not require updates

  • This process must be completed for each dashboard individually

Steps

  1. Navigate to the dashboard showing the incorrect date range.

  2. Locate the DATE on the dashboard and click it to open the dashboard settings.

  3. Locate the date range settings within the configuration options.

  4. Update the date range to reflect the current month (e.g., March 1, 2026 – March 31, 2026).

  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

  6. Repeat this process for any other dashboards showing incorrect default dates.

Verification / Expected Result

After updating, the dashboard will display the correct current month date range by default, with data aligned to the current time period.

Tips & Notes

πŸ’‘ Tip: Even when a dashboard shows an incorrect year (e.g., March 2025), the actual data displayed may still be from the current month. Updating the date range ensures both the display and the data are fully aligned.

⚠️ Note: This issue may affect multiple dashboards across your account. Check and update each dashboard individually to ensure all date ranges are correct.

Troubleshooting / Common Errors
