PAA Block Visibility: Layout-Level Only (No Per-User Controls) (CRM)

Overview PAA block visibility in Dazos CRM is controlled at the layout level, meaning changes affect all users. There is no option to hide or show PAA blocks for specific individual users.

How PAA Block Visibility Works

When you hide a PAA block (such as "Substance Use History"), the change applies to all users who access that CRM layout. This is a system-wide setting, not a user-specific permission.

Steps to Hide PAA Blocks (All Users)

  1. Navigate to Settings → CRM Settings → Module Management → Module Layouts & Fields

  2. Open the PAA layout you want to modify

  3. Find the block you want to hide

  4. Click "Hide Block"

  5. Save your changes

⚠️ Important: This will hide the block for every user who accesses this layout.

Current Limitations

The following user-specific controls are not available for PAA blocks:

  • Hiding blocks from certain users only

  • Showing blocks to specific user groups

  • Individual user permissions for block visibility

Alternative Options

While you cannot control entire block visibility per user, Dazos does support:

  • Role-based controls for picklist values within fields (not entire blocks)

  • Field-level permissions in some cases

💡 Tip: If you have a specific use case requiring user-based block visibility, consider reaching out to support to discuss potential workarounds or feature requests.
