Email Click Count and Access Count Definitions in Accounts Module (CRM)

Overview The Emails related module within the CRM Accounts module contains two key tracking fields: Click Count and Access Count. These fields help track email engagement metrics for emails associated with specific accounts.

Field Definitions

Click Count

Tracks the total number of times recipients have clicked on links within the email. This may include multiple clicks from the same recipient if they click on links more than once.

Access Count

Tracks the total number of times the email was opened or accessed. This may include repeat opens from the same recipient if they open the email multiple times.

Where to Find These Fields

These fields are located in the Emails related module within the Accounts module. The Emails section displays emails sent, email campaigns sent, and signed documents sent that are associated with a specific account.

How the Tracking Works

The CRM uses one-to-many relationships, allowing one Account to have many associated Emails and creating a full history of email engagement. Both Click Count and Access Count start at zero when an email is first sent and increment as recipients interact with the email.

⚠️ Note: There may be delays in reporting β€” these counts might not update immediately after email interactions occur.

When to Use These Metrics

These engagement metrics are useful for:

  • Tracking account-specific email performance

  • Understanding recipient engagement patterns

  • Measuring the effectiveness of email communications

  • Building comprehensive engagement histories for accounts
