Symptom/Error
When viewing reports in the CRM, Related Module fields (such as "Referred to – OB") show numeric values instead of the expected facility names or other readable text.
For example, instead of seeing "ABC Treatment Center," the report displays "12345" or similar numeric IDs.
Cause
This occurs because Related Module fields sometimes display the internal database IDs that reference the related records, rather than the human-readable names from those records.
Solution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Look for the "Referenced" version of the field: When adding columns to your report, search for a "Referenced" version of the problematic field. For example, look for "Referred to – OB Referenced" instead of just "Referred to – OB."
Replace the field in your report: Remove the numeric ID field and add the "Referenced" version to your report columns.
Verify the result: Run the report to confirm that readable names now appear instead of numeric IDs.
Escalation
If the "Referenced" field option doesn't resolve the issue or isn't available in the field list, this may be a bug that requires development team attention.
