Refreshing Integrations When Reactivating Archived Instances (CRM)

When reactivating an archived Dazos instance, it's recommended to refresh all integrations including VoIP and EMR connections to ensure everything functions properly.

Before You Begin

Administrative Access: Ensure you have administrator permissions to access integration settings in your Dazos instance.

Integration Credentials: Have your VoIP and EMR integration credentials readily available in case they need to be re-entered.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings
Log in to your reactivated Dazos instance and click on Settings in the left navigation menu.

  2. Access CRM Settings
Click on CRM Settings to open the configuration panel.

  3. Review VoIP Integration
Go to the VoIP Settings section and locate your configured integration (Dialpad, RingCentral, etc.). Click Test Connection to verify the connection is working properly.

  4. Refresh EMR Integration
Navigate to the Integration dropdown menu and select your EMR system (KIPU, OPUS, etc.). Test the connection and refresh any field mappings or credentials if needed.

  5. Verify Other Integrations
Check additional integrations such as DocuSign, Payment Gateways, or QuickBooks connections. Use any available test buttons to confirm functionality.

  6. Test Core Functions
Perform a quick test of key integration features:

    • Make a test call to verify VoIP logging

    • Check that EMR data syncs properly

    • Verify document signing workflows if applicable

Why This Matters

While server and database settings remain intact during archival, integration connections may need to be refreshed to ensure proper communication between systems. This "turning it off and on again" approach helps prevent potential issues with data syncing or communication failures.

šŸ’” Best Practice Tip

Even though the underlying configuration data is preserved, refreshing integrations after reactivation helps ensure all external connections are properly established and functioning as expected.

Troubleshooting

If any integration fails to connect after refreshing:

  • Verify that credentials haven't expired or changed

  • Check that the external service (VoIP provider, EMR system) is operational

  • Contact support if connections continue to fail after credential verification
