How to Refresh EMR Connection When New Treatment Program Doesn't Appear in CRM Mapping Dropdown (CRM)

This ensures new treatment programs become available for selection in your CRM mapping configuration.

Before You Begin

  • Confirm the new treatment program has been created in your EMR system

  • Ensure you have admin permissions in Dazos CRM to access EMR Settings

  • Verify you can access Settings > CRM Settings > Integration > EMR Settings

Steps

  1. Navigate to EMR Settings: Go to Settings > CRM Settings > Integration > EMR Settings in your Dazos CRM instance.

  2. Select Your EMR Provider: Click on your specific EMR provider (e.g., Alleva, Kipu) from the integration panel.

  3. Test the Connection: Click the "Test Connection" button to refresh the link between your CRM and EMR systems. This forces the CRM to pull the latest data from your EMR, including any newly added treatment programs.

  4. Verify New Programs Appear: After the connection test completes successfully, check the treatment program mapping dropdown to confirm your new program now appears in the list.

  5. Complete Your Mapping: If needed, proceed to map your new treatment program by clicking "Add" and selecting the appropriate options from both the EMR and CRM dropdown menus.

Verification / Expected Result

After refreshing the connection, your new treatment program should appear in the EMR mapping dropdown menu. You can then proceed to create the mapping between your EMR program and the corresponding CRM treatment program.

Troubleshooting / Common Errors

  • Program Still Not Visible: If the new treatment program still doesn't appear after testing the connection, verify that it was properly created and saved in your EMR system first.

  • Connection Test Fails: If the connection test fails, check your EMR integration credentials and ensure the EMR system is accessible.

  • Multiple Refresh Needed: In some cases, you may need to wait a few minutes and repeat the "Test Connection" process if the new program doesn't appear immediately.
