Frequently Asked Questions
Need Help?
1. Before You Start
You will need:
An iCampaign account with access to a workspace.
The Landing Pages permission on your role (super admins and admins have it automatically).
Your workspace brand styles set up (colors, base font size, button style) so generated and built pages match your brand. If these aren't set, sensible defaults are used.
Access requirements: Landing Pages is available to workspace admins and marketers whose role includes the Landing Pages permission. It appears as its own item in the left menu.
⚠️ Note: If you don't see Landing Pages in the left menu, your role may not have the permission yet, or the feature may not be enabled for your instance. Ask your workspace administrator to grant the Landing Pages permission, or contact Dazos support to enable it.
2. Finding Landing Pages
From the left menu, open Landing Pages. It has two sections:
Pages — the web pages you have created.
Templates — ready-made starting layouts you can reuse.
The Pages list shows each page's Name, Status, and Created date, with search boxes at the top of each column. Use the New Page button (top right) to start building, or Templates to browse starting layouts.
3. Creating a Page in the Web Builder
From Landing Pages → Pages, click New Page. The visual web builder opens with a starter layout.
You can build your page in three ways — drag blocks, use AI, or start from a template (covered in the next sections). The main areas of the builder:
Area | What it does |
Canvas (center) | Your page. Click any element to edit its text or style. |
Blocks (left) | Drag elements onto the canvas — text, image, button, and sections/columns. No code needed. |
Device selector (top) | Switch between Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile to preview and adjust how the page looks at each screen size. |
Styles / Properties (right) | Fine-tune the selected element. Your brand colors, font size, and button style are applied automatically and kept consistent. |
AI (right, first tab) | Generate or draft a page from a short brief (see the next section). |
Save (top) | Name the page, add an optional description, choose a status, and save. |
When you click Save, give the page a Name, an optional Description, and a Status:
Field | Description | Example |
Name | A label to find the page later | Spring Alumni Reunion |
Description | Optional note about the page | Reunion signup, April campaign |
Status | Draft = still working on it; Ready = finished | Draft |
💡 Tip: Saving a brand-new page returns you to the Pages list. Editing an existing page keeps you in the builder so you can keep refining.
4. Building a Page with AI
Open the AI tab on the right of the builder (it's the first tab and opens by default). There are two ways to build a page with the assistant:
Option A — Describe it yourself (direct): Type a full description of the page you want in the box and press send. The assistant generates the page right away.
Option B — Let it guide you (guided): Pick a campaign category and the assistant walks you through a few quick questions, then builds a brief and generates the page.
In guided mode the assistant asks:
Question | What to choose |
Campaign category | The type of campaign this page supports — your existing iCampaign categories (for example Birthday, Newsletter, Welcome Packet, VOB Approval Emails). |
Main action | What you want visitors to do — for example sign up, buy, book a demo, or contact you. |
Sections | Which parts to include — hero, features, testimonials, pricing, FAQ, contact form. You can pick several. |
Style / tone notes | Optional. Anything about the look, tone, or audience. You can skip this. |
At any step you can click a suggestion or type your own answer (press Enter to send). When you're done, the assistant shows the brief it will use and a Generate button. Click Generate to build the page, then keep refining it in the builder.
⚠️ Important: Generating replaces whatever is currently on the canvas. If the page already has content, the assistant asks you to confirm first. Use Start over to redo the questions, or Create another page after a page has been generated.
5. Starting from a Template
Open Landing Pages → Templates to browse ready-made layouts. Each template shows a live preview so you can see what you're getting.
Search by name and filter by status at the top. Each card offers these actions:
Action | What it does |
Preview | Opens a full-size preview of the template. |
Use template | Opens the builder pre-filled with that layout so you can customize it. |
Duplicate | Makes an editable copy in your workspace. |
Delete | Removes the template (not available for shared System templates). |
Templates marked System are shared with everyone and can't be deleted — but you can duplicate them and edit the copy.
💡 Tip: To reuse a page you built, open the Pages list, use the page's row menu, and choose Save as template. It then appears in the Templates gallery for everyone on your workspace to reuse.
6. Managing Your Pages
The Pages list shows each page's name, status, and date. From here you can:
Control | Purpose |
Search boxes | Filter the list by name, status, or date. |
Column headers | Sort by any column; use the column picker to show or hide columns. |
Row menu | Per page: Edit, Duplicate, Save as template, Preview, or Delete. |
Preview | Opens the finished page in a preview window without opening the builder. |
Select + Delete | Tick one or more pages and use the Delete button to remove several at once. |

💡 Tip: This release lets you build, preview, save, and reuse pages. Publishing a page to a live web address is a separate feature coming in a future release.
7. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I don't see Landing Pages in the menu. How do I get access?
Your role needs the Landing Pages permission. Ask your workspace administrator to grant it, or contact Dazos support to enable the feature for your instance.
Q: Can I publish a page to a live web address?
Not in this release. You can build, preview, save, and reuse pages now; publishing to a live URL is a separate, upcoming feature.
Q: Will using AI overwrite my current page?
Yes — generating replaces what's on the canvas. If the page already has content, the assistant asks you to confirm first. Choose Start over to redo the questions before generating.
Q: Where do the AI campaign categories come from?
They are your existing iCampaign campaign categories — the same list used elsewhere in iCampaign (for example Birthday, Newsletter, Welcome Packet, VOB Approval Emails).
Q: What's the difference between Draft and Ready?
It's just a status label to help you organize. Draft means you're still working on the page; Ready means it's finished. Neither affects who can see the page.
Q: How do I make sure the page looks good on phones?
Use the Desktop / Tablet / Mobile device selector at the top of the builder to preview and adjust the layout for each screen size.
Q: Can I reuse a page I built as a starting point for others?
Yes. From the Pages list, open the page's row menu and choose Save as template. It will appear in the Templates gallery.
Q: Why can't I delete some templates?
Templates marked System are shared with everyone and can't be deleted. You can duplicate one and edit your own copy instead.
8. Need Help?
If you run into issues:
Confirm your role has the Landing Pages permission (ask your workspace administrator).
Reload the builder or re-open the page, and check that your brand styles are set up for the workspace.
Contact Dazos support with a description of the problem and reference ICD-1411.
