How to Set Up Google Ads Offline Conversion Tracking Integration (CRM)

Overview

This guide shows you how to set up Dazos' native Google Ads integration to track offline conversions. You can automatically report when leads reach important milestones in your CRM (like "Quality Lead" or "Admit") back to Google Ads, helping Google's AI learn which ads drive real patients, not just clicks.

Before You Begin

  • You must have GCLID tracking already set up (through tools like CallTrackingMetrics or CallRail)

  • Administrator access to your Dazos CRM

  • Access to your Google Ads account(s)

  • The integration supports multiple Google Ads accounts for different companies/websites

Steps

Step 1: Access Google Ads Integration Settings

In Dazos, navigate to Settings → CRM Settings → Integration → Google Ads Settings.

Step 2: Authenticate with Google

Click "Continue with Google" to begin the OAuth authentication process. You'll be redirected to Google to authorize the connection.

💡 Tip: If you have multiple Google Ads accounts, you can connect each one separately by selecting the specific Google Ads Customer ID during setup.

Step 3: Create Conversion Actions in Google Ads

Before mapping triggers in Dazos, you need to create conversion actions in your Google Ads account for the milestones you want to track (e.g., "Quality Lead," "Opportunity Admitted").

For detailed instructions on creating offline conversion actions, see our guide: Adding Conversion Actions in Google Ads for Dazos CRM Integration.

Step 4: Pull and Map Conversion Actions

Back in Dazos Google Ads Settings, click "Pull Conversion Actions" to import the conversion actions you created in Google Ads.

Map your CRM stages to the appropriate Google Ads conversion actions:

  • Quality Leads: Set a trigger for when Sales Stage is updated to "Qualified"

  • Admits: Map "Opportunity Admitted" milestone to your Admit conversion action

You can also assign dollar values to each conversion action to help Google Ads optimize for value.

Step 5: Monitor Conversion Tracking

You can monitor all conversion data being sent to Google Ads in real-time via your Dazos Logger within Dazos.

Verification / Expected Result

After setup is complete:

  • Green checkmark appears in Google Ads Settings indicating successful connection

  • When leads reach mapped milestones in your CRM, conversion data automatically sends to Google Ads

  • API Activity Logs show successful conversion uploads

  • Google Ads shows offline conversions in your conversion reporting

Troubleshooting / Common Issues

OAuth Redirect Errors: If you encounter redirect issues during authentication (especially on custom domains), contact Dazos support. A manual workaround may be needed during setup.

Multiple Google Ads Accounts: No issue - the integration supports connecting multiple Google Ads accounts. Each account needs to be authenticated separately with its specific Customer ID.

Missing GCLID: Ensure your call tracking system (CTM, CallRail, etc.) is properly capturing and passing GCLID data. Without GCLID, conversion tracking cannot link back to specific ad clicks.
