Patient Push: The action of sending a patient record from Dazos CRM to Lightning Step EMR.
Referral Source: The organization or entity recorded in Dazos CRM as the source of a patient referral.
Referral Contact: The individual contact associated with the referral source, also recorded in Dazos CRM.
How It Works
Following an update to the way Dazos sends referral data to Lightning Step, referral source and referral contact information will now be automatically included in every patient push to Lightning Step EMR, as long as a referral source is recorded on the patient record in Dazos CRM.
No action is required on your end. The update has been applied on the Dazos side and will take effect for all patient pushes going forward.
Important Notes
Referral source must be recorded in Dazos CRM for this information to be included in the push. If no referral source is saved on the patient record, referral information will not be sent to Lightning Step.
If you pushed a patient to Lightning Step prior to this fix and referral information is missing in Lightning Step, you may need to manually update that record in Lightning Step or re-push the patient if your workflow supports it. Contact Dazos Support if you need assistance with specific records.
If you are still not seeing referral source or referral contact information appearing in Lightning Step after a patient push, and a referral source is confirmed to be recorded in Dazos CRM, please contact Dazos Support for further investigation.
