Overview
Your iCampaign dashboard now tells you, at a glance, which setup steps are still missing before you can use the features included in your plan. Instead of finding out that a campaign cannot go out only when a send fails, you see the pending steps the moment you open iCampaign — each one with a button that takes you straight to the screen where you can complete it.
Before You Begin
You'll need:
An administrator account in iCampaign. The section is shown to administrators only, because completing these steps requires administrator access.
Nothing to install, enable, or configure. The section appears on its own as soon as there is something pending.
Access requirements: Regular (non-administrator) users never see this section, even when setup steps are pending. If you are an administrator and you believe a step is missing from your dashboard, check first whether that feature is part of your plan.
If you do not see the section at all, that is the expected result when everything applicable to your plan is already configured. There is nothing to turn on.
Where You Will See It
From the iCampaign main menu, open Dashboard. When something is pending, a section titled Setup pending appears at the very top of the page, above your plan renewal date and your usage cards — it is the first thing you see.
The rest of your dashboard is unchanged — your usage cards, subscriber chart, and campaign tables stay exactly where they were. The section simply appears above them when it has something to tell you, and is absent when it does not.
The Setup Items You May See
Each pending step is shown as its own card. Every card tells you three things: what is missing, what it is preventing you from doing, and a button that opens the screen where you can complete it.
This first version covers three setup steps:
Card | What it means | Where the button takes you |
No sending domain configured | Your account has no sending domain yet. Email campaigns cannot be sent. | The domain configuration list, where you add one |
Sending domain not verified | You added a domain, but its DNS verification is not finished. Email campaigns cannot be sent. | That domain's setup wizard |
No sending email address | Your domain is verified, but you have not created an address to send from. Email campaigns cannot be sent. | That domain's email addresses |
Twilio A2P verification not approved | SMS is included in your plan, but the Twilio A2P registration is not approved yet. SMS cannot be sent. | The TrustHub screen |
You will only ever see cards for features your plan includes. If your plan does not include SMS, the Twilio A2P card never appears, no matter what state the registration is in.
💡 Tip: The domain cards work in sequence. Until you have a verified domain, iCampaign asks you to verify the domain — it will not ask you for a sending address on a domain that cannot send yet. Once the domain is verified, the address card takes its place if you still need one.
Completing a Setup Item
On the Dashboard, find the card for the step you want to complete.
Click the button on that card — for example Finish verification, Add a sending address, or Finish registration.
Complete the step on the screen that opens, exactly as you normally would. Nothing about those screens has changed.
Return to the Dashboard.
The card for the step you completed is gone. There is nothing to dismiss, tick off, or mark as done — the section is rebuilt from your current setup every time the dashboard loads, so steps you completed anywhere else in iCampaign are reflected too.
When the last applicable step is done, the whole Setup pending section disappears.
Important: These cards never block or hide anything. They exist to tell you why a send would fail, not to stop you from using iCampaign. You can keep working normally while a step is still pending.
Understanding the Twilio A2P Card
The SMS card is the one that changes wording depending on how far along your registration is, so it is worth knowing what each message means. The status shown always matches the Campaign column on the TrustHub screen.
What the card says | What it means | What to do |
The registration has not been started | No Twilio A2P registration exists on your account yet. | Click Start registration and create a profile. |
The registration is still pending — the campaign has not been submitted for review yet | A profile exists, but the A2P campaign was never submitted to Twilio. | Click Finish registration and complete the remaining steps. |
The registration is submitted and under review by Twilio | Everything is submitted. Twilio is reviewing it. | Wait for Twilio. Click Check status to see where it stands. |
The registration was rejected | Twilio declined the registration. | Click Review registration, correct the details and submit again. |
💡 Tip: The status on the card is the last status iCampaign recorded, not a live check against Twilio. If Twilio has just approved your registration, open the TrustHub screen using the card's own button — that refreshes the status, and the card will be gone the next time you open the dashboard.
Need Help?
If you run into issues:
Open the screen the card links to and check the status shown there — it is the authoritative view for that step.
For SMS, confirm the Campaign status on the TrustHub screen matches what the card says. Opening that screen also refreshes the status.
Contact Dazos support with the name of the card you are seeing and what the linked screen shows, and reference ICD-1557.
